Les Tout Petit Mardi Gras, the courir of very
little Mardi Gras, go on their run through the countryside near Iota Sunday
afternoon before heading into town where they give a brief performance on the main stage
used by the Iota Folklife Festival on Mardi Gras day. At each stop, they sing the
Tee-Mamou Mardi Gras Song. They are pictured
gathered at La Maison Pointe Aux Loups in the countryside north of Iota, where they posed
for photos and also chased some chickens.
Notice the Mardi Gras in the right column attempting to tie
a woman's shoe strings together.
